Americans are probably more passionate about patriotism than anyone else in the world. They love their country, and they tearfully fly the Stars and Stripes on their front lawns or tear up during the national anthem. But why is the United States such a special place for its people?

A study by SSRS reveals that nearly 80% of U.S. adults identify as either very or somewhat patriotic. This sentiment is shared by 95% of Republicans and 75% of Democrats. However, Republicans are significantly more likely to describe themselves as “very patriotic” than Democrats, with 65% of Republicans expressing this view versus 28% of Democrats. According to Gallup News, 67% of Americans feel incredibly or very proud of the USA, while 41% say they are incredibly proud.

These are 15 reasons Americans can’t keep their love of the USA down. Each point highlights unique parts of the country that inspire dignity, obligation, and respect. This post examines the American culture and social and natural wonders that make the USA special.

Few experiences define America like road trips do. Exploring the beauty of the U.S. is accessible and exciting, with about 4.2 million miles of highways and scenic byways

Route 66, or the Pacific Coast Highway (U.S. Route 101), is still classic for its spirit of freedom and discovery.
