With their high-security protocols, Airports should be much safer places where you don’t have to worry about leaving your bags at the check-in or the luggage belt. After all, they have security teams, cameras, and protocols to keep people and possessions safe, right?

Unfortunately, luggage theft at several major airports around the world has been on the rise. This is a troubling trend and it’s making many travelers more anxious than ever.
