Venice, Italy

During the day, it can be packed with tourists making the narrow streets feel claustrophobic and dangerous due to petty crime. Venice however, is serene at night. The crowds thin out and you can revel in the alleyways and have the piazzas all to yourself.

Naturally, its nightlife is also a part of Tokyo’s reputation for being one of the safest cities in the world. The day is filled busy streets, but at night are quieter.
