The Leonard Hotel – Leonard
This old hotel, built in 1914, has more than a few stories that make it unsettling. The Leonard Hotel is in the little town of Leonard and has built a reputation for strange occurrences and strange noises. Guests report that they’ve felt watched, heard footsteps in the hallways, and seen ghostly visitors roaming the halls of the hotel. Locals say that a former guest who died here never really checked out.
Fort Ransom – Sheyenne River State Forest
